We build for inclusion. That has to include this site.
Our aim
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1, at Level AA. That standard covers colour contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader support, text alternatives for images, and clear structure.
Where we are
This site was rebuilt in 2026. Accessibility was part of the build rather than something added afterwards. We have:
- Checked colour contrast for every text and background pairing
- Made every interactive element reachable and visible by keyboard
- Given every image, icon and link a meaningful description
- Used a consistent heading structure on every page
- Captioned video where video appears
Known gaps
We are honest about what is not finished.
Some documents published before 2026, including archived magazine articles, are image based PDFs without a text layer. Screen readers cannot read them. If you need one of these in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide it.
Content hosted by third parties, such as publisher archives we link to, is outside our control.
