Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Collaboration for Good respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Collaboration for Good is a social impact consultancy. This site is collaborationforgood.com. For any question about this policy, or about information we hold on you, write to connect@collaborationforgood.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, organisation, the role and topic you select, and anything you write in the message field. If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email address and the time you choose.
Information collected automatically. This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Like every website, our host records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site running and secure. Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers them.
We do not collect payment information through this site. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information such as health, financial account or government identification details.
Why we collect it
To answer you when you get in touch. To schedule a call you asked for. To keep the site running and secure. To meet our legal and record keeping obligations.
Under GDPR, our lawful bases are your consent, where you submitted something to us, and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We have never sold it and we have no plans to.
We use service providers who process information on our behalf. These currently include our website host (Netlify, which also receives contact form submissions), our email provider, our scheduling provider (Calendly) and our font provider (Google Fonts). They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
We will disclose information if we are legally required to.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers, so there is nothing to accept or decline. If you follow a link to another site, such as our scheduling page or a publication, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions and email correspondence are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. If you become a client, records of our engagement are kept for up to seven years after it ends, to meet tax and legal obligations. Our host keeps its technical request logs for a short period, typically no more than 30 days. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us what information we hold on you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to connect@collaborationforgood.com and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are in the UK or Europe, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your data protection authority.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA.
Security
We use reputable providers and keep access to information limited to those who need it. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may store information there. If you are outside the United States, submitting information to us means it may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
We link to articles and publications we have written for or been featured in. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
